Reverse description The reverse features a central Arabic calligraphic legend enclosed within a beaded or dotted inner circle, itself surrounded by a similarly dotted outer border. The inscription, rendered in nasta'liq script, occupies the majority of the central field and likely bears the Shi'a kalima or a mint/ruler attribution. The beaded border is a hallmark of Afsharid silver coinage of this type, and the flan shows the characteristic irregular shape of hammered production. The field surrounding the inner circle is plain and slightly concave due to the striking technique.
