Additional information

Victor II Friedrich ruled Anhalt-Bernburg from 1721 until his death in 1765, presiding over a principality that remained one of the smaller Anhalt subdivisions never absorbed into the consolidations that would eventually produce unified Anhalt in 1863. The Seven Years' War (1756–1763) fell squarely within this coin's production window, and the financial strain on minor German states during that conflict frequently disrupted regular minting schedules and silver supplies.

KM#16 is a scarce type in any grade — Anhalt-Bernburg's small population and limited commercial economy meant demand for petty silver coinage was never high.
