Obverse description Quartered shield of arms surmounted by an ornate crown, the escutcheon divided into four quarters displaying the arms of Brandenburg-Bayreuth. The upper-left and lower-right quarters bear the Hohenzollern sable and argent quartering, while the upper-right quarter displays a rampant lion and the lower-left shows a further heraldic charge. The shield is flanked by elaborate baroque scrollwork and acanthus-style ornamental mantling. The coin is struck within a milled border, with no peripheral legend.
