Obverse description Central field features an elaborate interlaced ducal 'W' monogram surmounted by a princely crown, the whole flanked by two sprigs of laurel or palm arranged symmetrically at the base. The legend F.S.E.L.M. (Fürst zu Sachsen-Eisenach, Landgraf in Meissen or similar territorial title abbreviation) is inscribed along the upper periphery in Latin characters. The monogram is rendered in an ornate Baroque calligraphic style typical of early 18th-century German minor coinage.
