Obverse description Ornate crowned cipher monogram 'AEPF' (standing for Adalbertus Episcopus Princeps Fuldensis) in the central field, rendered in interlaced Gothic lettering beneath a princely crown. The monogram is elaborately intertwined and occupies the full flan, with decorative foliate flourishes extending to the sides. The coin border is defined by a fine beaded inner circle.
