Reverse description A square-shaped shield of the royal arms of England and France, quartering the lilies and lions, is superimposed upon a long cross pattée whose limbs extend to the beaded inner circle, dividing the reverse legend into four sections. The date 1562 appears above the shield, split to either side, with the inscription occupying the four quadrants around the cross.
