Below the horse, a small oval cartouche bears the fraction denomination '1/6'. The circular legend reads D G RUD AUG & ANTH VLR D D BR & L, referring to co-rulers Rudolph August and Anthony Ulrich, Dukes of Brunswick and Lüneburg, by the Grace of God. The coin is struck with a milled border of fine beading running along the rim. |
