Reverse description The reverse displays the denomination and date in bold Roman and Arabic numerals arranged in three horizontal lines across the centre of the field: VI above KREUZER. above 1797., the date separated from the mint mark by a horizontal rule. Flanking the denomination numeral VI are small rosette or six-petalled flower ornaments, and similar rosettes flank the mint mark B at the base. A circular peripheral legend in Latin script reads ANS·B·BAYR·LANDMUNZ around the upper arc, identifying this as an Ansbach-Bayreuth provincial land coinage. The reeded edge is clearly visible, and the overall layout is crisp and typographically precise.
