Württemberg's elevation to a kingdom in January 1806 — Napoleon's reward for Friedrich II's loyalty and military cooperation — triggered an immediate need to reissue coinage under the new royal title. This six kreuzer belongs to that first wave of regal issues, struck within months of the proclamation.
