Reverse description A quartered oval shield displaying the civic arms of Schweidnitz — a crowned eagle and a crowned lion in the quarters — set within an ornate Baroque cartouche with scrollwork. The date 1622 appears to the left of the shield within the legend, which reads GROSSVS CIVITATIS SWIDNIC around the periphery. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, consistent with the hammered coinage technique of the period.
