| Obverse description | Central field displays the municipal arms of Regensburg: two ornate heraldic shields side by side, each bearing a tower motif, surmounted by a fleur-de-lis and flanked by decorative scrollwork, with two crossed keys beneath — the traditional emblems of the Free City. The date 1554 appears above the central device. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin legend distributed around the outer field between the beaded border and the coin's toothed rim. |
