Obverse description Draped bust of Elector George William facing right, depicted within a beaded or plain inner circle. The effigy shows the ruler in armored or mantled attire with period-style coiffure. The surrounding legend in Latin reads V·G·G·M·Z BRAN GEORG·WILH., abbreviated from his full electoral titles. The portrait is rendered in a crude but characteristic hammered style typical of early seventeenth-century German minor coinage.

Reverse description Crowned oval shield bearing the Brandenburg scepter arms, set within an ornate baroque cartouche with scrollwork flanking the sides. An imperial orb inscribed with the denomination numeral VI appears above the shield, while the date 1622 is divided to either side of the central device. The encircling Latin legend references the Elector's imperial and territorial dignities. The overall design is characteristic of the kipper-period small silver coinage of the German states.
