| Obverse description | The obverse presents a highly detailed, high-relief depiction of the Trsat Dragon, a legendary Croatian mythical creature rendered with an avian head featuring a hooked beak and ruffled plumage, a scaled serpentine body, and two large membranous bat-like wings spread wide across the field. The creature is shown in a frontal rampant stance, its coiled tail visible at the lower field, clutching in its foreclaws a gilded decorative panel applied in selective gold gilding and adorned with stylized ornamental motifs evoking medieval Croatian heritage. The antiqued patinated silver surface provides deep contrasting relief throughout the composition.
