| Reverse description | A standing allegorical figure of Peace (Pax) occupies the central field, draped in flowing robes and positioned atop a decorative pedestal or base, holding an olive branch in her right hand and a caduceus in her left. Two youthful genii (putti) are seated at her feet on either side, each supporting a heraldic shield of arms. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, with the mint master's initials GFN visible in the exergue at the base of the pedestal. The composition is executed in high relief in the Baroque style characteristic of late seventeenth-century German coinage. |
