Obverse description Draped bust of King Carlos III facing right, with long flowing curled hair, within a circular legend. The mintmark 'DeG' appears in the exergue below the truncation. The peripheral legend, interrupted by the bust, reads CAR·D·G·VTR·SIC·ET·HIER·REX, abbreviated from Carolus Dei Gratia Utriusque Siciliae et Hierusalem Rex. A fine toothed border runs along the rim.

Reverse description Elaborate quartered royal arms of Carlos III, surmounted by a large ornate crown, flanked on either side by the mint initials M·M and supported by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece below. The shield displays the quarterings of Castile, León, Aragon, the Two Sicilies, Granada, and other dynastic territories. The denomination D·6 and a floral ornament appear at the base, flanked by the date 1750. The legend INFANS·HISPAN·R reads around the periphery.
