| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a multi-line Arabic legend arranged within a lobed, cartouche-style frame typical of Ilkhanid coinage. The Shahada occupies the uppermost line, followed by the Prophet's name and the royal titulature of Abu Sa'id Bahadur Khan in bold, angular Naskh script. The surrounding field contains additional marginal inscriptions, and the entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. The die-struck lettering displays the characteristic robust relief of hammered Ilkhanid silver coinage. |
