Reverse description A large radiant sun with alternating long and short straight rays dominates the field, with the Christogram IHS displayed within a beaded central roundel at the sun's core. The Calvinist motto POST TENEBRAS LUX, meaning 'After darkness, light,' together with the initial G and the date 1750, forms the circular legend around the periphery between the rays and the milled border.
