| Obverse description | Central field features the Lion Capital of Ashoka (the national emblem of India), depicted in high relief with three lions visible atop the abacus, which bears a Dharma Chakra at centre flanked by a bull and a horse in relief. Below the emblem, the motto legend 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate) is inscribed in Devanagari script. The denomination '₹550' appears prominently in the lower field using the Indian Rupee symbol. The country name is rendered bilingually along the left and right rims, reading 'भारत' in Devanagari to the left and 'INDIA' in Latin script to the right. |
