The Persian legend runs along the upper periphery in nastaliq script, flanked by two floral rosettes at either side. The Latin legend IAN CELEBRATES 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF PAHLAVI DYNASTY arcs along the lower rim, with the Iranian imperial calendar date 2535 inscribed below the crown. |
