Reverse description The central field depicts Hodori, the official tiger mascot of the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics, shown as a stylised anthropomorphic tiger in an upright, dynamic pose with one arm raised, wearing a traditional Korean sangmo hat with a long ribbon swirling above its head, and the Olympic rings displayed on its torso. To the lower left of the mascot figure appears the Seoul 1988 Olympic Games logo alongside the Olympic rings symbol. The curved legend along the upper rim reads XXIV OLYMPIAD SEOUL 1988 in Latin characters, and the denomination 5000 WON is inscribed along the lower rim.
