| Obverse description | The obverse features a bold geometric design divided diagonally into a polished mirror field and a matte background. The denomination '5000' is prominently displayed in large numerals at the center, with the currency name 'TOLARJEV' inscribed below in capital letters. The legend 'REPUBLIKA SLOVENIJA' appears in the upper right field, and the year '2004' is positioned to the upper left within a rectangular panel. The overall composition employs a modern, minimalist aesthetic characteristic of Slovenian commemorative issues. |

| Additional information |
Slovenia issued two silver 5000 tolarjev pieces honoring Bled within a few years of each other, a relatively unusual move for a central bank with a modest commemorative program. This second issue appeared in 2006, just one year before Slovenia adopted the euro, making the entire tolarski commemorative series effectively terminal — no further issues in the denomination were possible after the currency changeover on 1 January 2007.
