Reverse description Central device depicts a boldly rendered sheep in high relief, shown in a dynamic three-quarter frontal stance with detailed wool texture. To the upper left, the Chinese character '未' (Wei, representing the Sheep in the Chinese zodiac) appears prominently, accompanied by the date '2003' immediately below it. Mongolian Cyrillic script runs vertically along the left field. The legend '1/2 OZ 999.9 GOLD' is inscribed in Latin script along the right field. The mintmaster's mark 'FDM' appears in the lower right exergue area, and the design is set against a mirror-polished proof field framed by a beaded border.
