The "Tuie" is a traditional Kazakh wedding chest — a dowry container historically filled with textiles, jewelry, and household items presented by the bride's family. Kazakhstan's National Bank has issued a long-running series of collector coins documenting material culture and craft traditions that were systematically suppressed or simply undocumented during the Soviet period. This piece belongs to that project. The single diamond insert, 2 mm across, is embedded as a functional element of the design rather than decoration for its own sake.
