The right wing and portions of the breast and tail feathers are rendered with selective gold gilding featuring intricate traditional Kazakh ornamental scrollwork, while the left wing remains in polished silver relief with naturalistically engraved feather detail. A small diamond insert is set in the eagle's eye. The inner field background is mirror-polished, contrasting with the frosted matte ground of the surrounding decorative border, which features continuous Kazakh national ornamentation in relief.
