The Argymaq — also spelled Akhal-Teke in its Turkmen designation — is the ancient hot-blooded horse breed native to Central Asia, prized across the steppe for endurance and speed over millennia. Kazakhstan has issued a series of large-format silver collector pieces celebrating national heritage animals and cultural symbols, and this coin sits among the heaviest in that program at 25 troy ounces of .925 silver.
