| Obverse description | On the obverse (obverse) of the coin in the upper part of the polished circle there is a coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan framed by a five-fold turned ornamental eight-pointed rosette and the inscription `ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫК БАНКI` in the state language. In the lower part the number `5000` and under it the inscription `ТЕҢГЕ` denoting the face value of the coin. To the left of the face value is the trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint and the inscription `1 kg.` indicating the mass of the coin, to the right - the inscription `Ag 925` denoting the metal from which the coin and its sample are made. To the right of the warrior is the inscription `10 ЖЫЛ` located in two lines and under it an image of the element of the national flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the inscription `АСТАНА`. In the upper part of the circumference there is an inscription `ТУУЕЛСІЗ ҚАЗАҚСТАНҒА` in the state language. In the lower part - the number `2001` denotes the year of coinage.
