Reverse description Central field features an Aztec mythological scene depicting a seated deity or priestly figure in elaborate ceremonial attire, positioned to the left before a stylized flowering tree whose branches support two birds with outstretched wings and clusters of blossoms. The composition draws from pre-Columbian iconographic traditions and is rendered in high relief. The mint mark (M) of the Royal Mint of Madrid appears to the lower left within the inner border, accompanied by the assayer's mark to the lower right. The circular legend QVINTO CENTENARIO arcs across the upper field between beaded borders, with the denomination 5000 PTAS inscribed along the lower periphery.
