| Obverse description | Green and brown bicolour note with a vignette of the merchant portrait after Albrecht Dürer's painting of Oswolt Krel (or a related Dürer merchant subject) positioned at right. The Reichsadler (Imperial Eagle) crest appears in the upper and lower portions of the left margin, where the series letter and serial number are printed vertically. The central text panel carries the full payment obligation and withdrawal clause in Gothic blackletter script. |
