| Obverse description | At centre, a stylised rectangular panel depicts a traditional roofed well with a bucket and hand-operated winding mechanism, characteristic of the folk architecture of Vlkolínec village. To the left of the panel, the Slovak national coat of arms — a double cross on a tiered base — is displayed, flanked on both sides by sections of a traditional wooden picket fence. The legend SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA curves along the upper field, divided between the left and right sides. The face value 5000 Sk appears in large numerals along the lower field. |
