| Reverse description | The reverse presents a highly detailed, perspective view of the Negrelli Viaduct in Prague, one of the oldest railway bridges in Central Europe, showing its characteristic series of semicircular arches receding diagonally across the field. A dark semicircular tunnel opening is visible at the upper center of the composition, emphasizing depth and architectural precision. The legend NEGRELLIHO VIADUKT V PRAZE curves along the upper border, separated by bullet points. The date 2012 appears in the lower exergue flanked by dots, with the engraver's initials FZ to the right. |

| Additional information |
The Negrelli Viaduct, completed in 1850, was engineered by Alois Negrelli von Moldelbe and remains the oldest surviving railway bridge in Prague — and one of the oldest in central Europe. Its construction required spanning the Vltava floodplain with 87 arches, a project that was contentious enough to stall for years over competing route proposals before the Emperor finally forced a decision.
The CNB's gold commemorative series for Czech architectural monuments has been issued in .9999 fineness since the early 2000s, a purity standard notably higher than most European sovereign gold of the period.
