| Obverse description | The Romanesque Church of St. Margaret of Antioch at Kopčany is depicted in the central field, flanked on either side by Great Moravian period earrings rendered in period ornamental style. The state coat of arms appears at center below the church, with the denomination 5000 Sk inscribed above it in two lines and the mintage year 2006 below. The legend SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs along the lower periphery to the left and right. The designer's initials MR appear adjacent to the right-hand earring near the rim, while the Kremnica Mint mark MK appears near the left-hand earring. |
