| Obverse description | A equestrian figure, believed to represent Leopold I, is depicted in left profile occupying the left portion of the field, rendered in high relief with a sceptre raised in the right hand. Behind the horseman, a detailed view of Bratislava Castle rises prominently against the upper field, accompanied by a church to the right. The Slovak national coat of arms — a silver double cross on a red shield — appears to the lower right. The legend SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs along the upper rim, the date 2005 is inscribed in the upper right field, and the denomination 5000 Sk is displayed in large numerals at the lower centre. The mint mark of the Kremnica Mint appears in the lower left field. |
