| Reverse description | The reverse features a richly coloured and enamelled scene inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's 'The Little Prince.' The Little Prince, depicted as a young boy with golden hair and a flowing yellow scarf, sits contemplatively atop a cratered asteroid at the upper centre, set against a deep blue starfield enamel sky adorned with diamond-set stars. A large coloured fox curls protectively around the lower portion of the asteroid in vivid orange and red tones. At the centre of the asteroid, a red rose beneath a glass dome is rendered in colour enamel with a diamond insert. The circular legend, composed of the novel's celebrated quotation, arcs around the entire periphery in cursive script. |
