| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon depicted in high relief at the centre of a dramatically sculpted field featuring swirling vortex and fractured rocky elements in ultra-high relief. The shield bears scales of justice above crossed fasces, flanked by the bilingual mottoes PAIX / PEACE and PATRIE / FATHERLAND, with TRAVAIL / WORK above, and the legend REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON / REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN inscribed on the base scroll. The circular outer legend reads REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN, with the date 2023 at right, and the denomination and fineness inscriptions 5 OZ / 5000 FRANCS CFA Ag 925 along the lower rim. A serialised edition number is visible in the field to the right of the arms. |
