| Obverse description | Central vignette presents two allegorical female figures — Pomone and Amphitrite — the former holding a cornucopia overflowing with fruits and flowers, the latter bearing a trident and a seashell, representing the bounty of land and sea respectively. A terrestrial landscape with vegetation occupies the left side of the composition, while a marine seascape extends to the right. Decorative botanical motifs of plants, flowers, and fruits frame the design throughout. |
