| Obverse description | Central circular field bearing the coat of arms of Cameroon, depicting a shield surmounted by a star and flanked by crossed fasces, with a set of scales in the lower portion. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper periphery of the inner circle, with the bilingual motto PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE / PEACE WORK FATHERLAND inscribed across the field. The denomination 5000 FRANCS CFA appears in the lower legend, flanked by the date 20 and 20 on either side of the arms. The central medallion is framed by a decorative wave border and set within the egg-shaped outer body, which features relief clover leaf ornamentation with green Swarovski crystal inserts. |
