Obverse description	Portrait of President Omar Bongo in intaglio at right, facing left, set against a central vignette of an open-pit mine rendered in warm ochre tones, with an oil refinery complex at lower left. A large blank oval watermark area occupies the centre, framed by guilloche underprint borders with chevron patterns along the top and bottom margins. Signature lines for Le Directeur General and Un Censeur appear above the central vignette.

Decorative borders of stylised fish and eye motifs frame the note on all sides.
