Obverse description	An intaglio portrait of Count István Széchenyi, after the painting by Friedrich von Amerling, occupies the right portion of the note against a fine guilloche underprint in shades of blue and green. At centre-left, the Hungarian coat of arms is printed alongside two facsimile signatures, with the denomination numeral 5000 rendered in large letterpress at lower right. The issuer name MAGYAR NEMZETI BANK, the city name BUDAPEST, and the year of issue are printed across the centre field, accompanied by the statutory counterfeiting warning.
