| Obverse description | The central field features a detailed depiction of a medieval sword handle (pommel and grip), rendered in fine relief with ornamental detailing, oriented vertically and bisected by the horizontal crossguard, forming a cross-like composition. The commemorative dates 1456 and 2006 flank the grip at mid-field, while a small cartouche below the crossguard bears the inscription '550 ÉV' (550 years) alongside the Budapest mint mark 'BP.'
