| Obverse description | Central field depicts a lively folk dance scene in high relief, featuring a couple dancing in traditional Hungarian attire at centre, the man raising his arm above the woman who wears a full skirt in motion. Flanking the dancers are five musicians playing various folk instruments including violin and double bass, rendered in detailed low relief against a mirror-field background. The legend MAGYARORSZÁG arcs across the upper periphery, while the date 2017 appears at lower left and the Budapest Mint mark BP. at lower right. The denomination 5000 FORINT is inscribed in bold letters along the lower portion of the coin. |
