| Obverse description | A stylized depiction of Mount Ararat dominates the central field, rendered against a rising sun with 35 radiating rays emanating from the lower portion of the design. The Armenian Coat of Arms is positioned to the lower right of the mountain motif. A diagonal bilingual legend runs along the upper edges of the coin in both Armenian script and Latin characters, incorporating the denomination and date. |

Armenia's Central Bank has issued collector silver in large formats fairly consistently, but the 168-gram, 63mm pieces represent some of the most ambitious in terms of sheer metal content — placing them closer to kilo-coin territory than standard commemorative issues. At spot silver prices in 2016, the metal value alone was substantial, which tends to keep these out of circulation entirely and into straight-to-slab territory.
The "English" designation in the series title typically distinguishes the language variant of the edge or field inscriptions, as Armenia has produced parallel issues with Armenian-script legends for the domestic market.
