| Obverse description | The National Coat of Arms of Armenia occupies the central field, depicting a crowned eagle and lion flanking a central shield bearing traditional Armenian heraldic motifs. The Armenian-language legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ arcs along the upper periphery, while the English legend REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA curves along the lower rim. The date 2013 appears to the left of the arms and the fineness mark Au 999,9 to the right.
