| Obverse description | Facing bust of Ahmad Shah Qajar at center, clad in military uniform and wearing the distinctive Qajar karakul cap adorned with an aigrette plume. The effigy is flanked by an olive branch to the left and an oak branch to the right, their stems tied at the base beneath the portrait. The Arabic legend السّلطان احمد شاه قاجار شاهنشاه ایران curves along the upper field, and the solar-calendar regnal date ١٣٣٢ appears in the lower exergue. The design is framed by a fine beaded border. |
