| Obverse description | The obverse carries the "BANK OF GHANA" title in bicolour lettering across the upper centre, with the denomination "FIVE THOUSAND CEDIS" in bold intaglio text dominating the central field against a multicolour guilloche underprint incorporating a large star vignette.
