| Obverse description | Printed in blue on a light ground, the central vignette presents a mountainside fortification or temple complex set within an ornate rectangular frame of guilloche and floral scroll border work. Large Chinese characters for the denomination (伍百圆) appear at left and right, with the bank name 北海銀行 across the top and a serial number in red at upper left. The date inscription 中華民國三十七年印 (Republic of China Year 37) runs along the lower margin. |
