Additional information

Vanuatu's large-format silver issues of the mid-2000s were produced almost entirely for the collector export market — the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu has never maintained significant domestic circulation for coins of this size or value, and pieces like this were sold through international distributors almost immediately upon issue.
