| Obverse description | Central device comprises the Bank of Mongolia emblem — a soyombo surmounted by a flame, flanked by decorative scrollwork — set within an ogival cartouche above a lotus petal base. Below the cartouche, the Cyrillic legend 'Монгой Банк' appears in cursive script, followed by a decorative flourish. The denomination '500 ТӨГРӨГ' is inscribed in large characters in the lower field, with the legend 'MONGOLIA 25gr 925 SILVER' curved along the lower rim. Traditional Mongolian script characters appear vertically in the left and right fields flanking the central device. The entire design is framed by a reeded border of uniform triangular serrations. |
