Traditional Mongolian script legends appear flanking the central device to the left and right. The denomination 500 ТӨГРӨГ is inscribed in bold characters in the lower central field, with the legend MONGOLIA 1 oz .999 SILVER running along the lower rim. A continuous border of serrated triangular denticles frames the entire design. |

| Additional information |
Mongolia's saker falcon (Falco cherrug) holds protected status under Mongolian law, yet illegal trapping for the Gulf falconry market has devastated wild populations across the steppe. By the mid-2010s, estimates placed the country's breeding pairs at fewer than 1,000. This coin was issued the same year Mongolia ratified strengthened bilateral agreements with several Central Asian states to coordinate enforcement along known trafficking routes.
