| Obverse description | At center, the Mongolian national emblem (Soyombo) in high relief, depicting the traditional Soyombo symbol flanked by two dragons, with a lotus base and decorative scrollwork, all surrounded by a radiate sunburst. The denomination '500' appears at the top of the field in Latin numerals accompanied by a Mongolian script character, with 'MONGOLIA' inscribed vertically along the right side in Latin letters. The country name in traditional Mongolian script runs vertically along the left side of the field.
