The ram's massively curved, ridged horns sweep dramatically to either side, rendered with exceptional sculptural precision, while the finely textured facial fur and alert expression convey a lifelike quality. Two amber-coloured Swarovski crystal insets serve as the animal's eyes, adding a striking polychrome accent. A rocky mountainous background in low relief frames the portrait.
